Paella Fail...sort of

We win some...and we lose some. I have never worked so hard, and tended so carefully, to a pan of rice as I did with this paella...and, even after all of the high maintenance and attention, it still came out iffy. Eh. That's just how it goes. My huband was impressed with the overall flavor, but the al dente nature of the rice was what put us off. Hours and hours of work...and still, the rice was undercooked! A life lesson learned...and a reminder of why I prefer bread and potatoes!
