Neeta's Indian Cuisine

It's hard to try a new restaurant, especially when it's right next door to one of your favorites (and this favorite that I'm speaking of is London Sizzler.)! However, since the whole point of this adventure is to eat the world...not nibble on the same bits...we broke away from the familiar and tried Neeta's Indian Cuisine restaurant.
From our first impression, Neeta's wasn't wasn't nearly as nice on the inside as London Sizzler. Paper napkins met us instead of cloth. The tables were bare in contrast to the other place. And the overall ambience was simply....meh. But, being aware that there is often more to a dive than just wall-hangings and mood lighting, I opened my mind for the possibilities to come.
The menu had all of the standards that one would expect in an Indian dinner spot. However, being the kind of people who order the same dish at different restaurants, we went with our standard lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala.

Really nothing could be said about this place except...why didn't we try it before?! The prices were a little less than its next door neighbor, but the food was just as good. I mean, really, who needs the "date night" atmosphere when you're usually carting around two kids, anyway?!

The best part was at the end of the meal. The beloved mango lassi was enjoyed by all....but, especially by this little guy, our son! Nothing says happiness than a favorite fruit blended into a smooth yogurt drink!
